You must create a response piece that demonstrates you read the book in order to get credit.  

Do not bring it on the first day. Your ELA or Humanities teacher will give you instructions about turning your response in on Google Classroom about a week after school starts. The grade you earn for summer reading will count toward your T1 grade.

What it should NOT be is a simple summary of the book or a formal book report. It also should probably only take a couple of hours to do (unless you really get into what you’re doing and enjoy it!), and it should not require any expensive materials. Please choose ONE of these options. 
 

You should not create a response piece for the graphic novel that we've also asked you to read - only one for a book you chose from the summer reading list, unless you get other instructions from a teacher.
